About Xanadu

Xanadu Beauty clinic is owned and managed by Allison Adam who has over 30 years of experience working in the beauty industry. As well as other positions, she was one of the training managers working with new therapists at Stobo Castle before embarking on her new venture at Xanadu. The salon took off quicker than expected and after just one year on her own in the salon Allison was joined by Vicky Blaik. Then later followed by Nicky Muir and Lauren Scott. As a team, we all work very well together and aim to create a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere for clients to come in and join us. 

Meet Our Team

Allison Adam

Allison has owned Xanadu Beauty Clinic since 2009 and has over 30 years experience of working in the Beauty industry. Allison has great knowledge in the Beauty industry after working as a training manager for many years before hand. Allison has created a luxury, relaxing and calming salon bringing very experienced therapists together and is very happy to be joined by amazing therapists - Vicky, Nicky and Lauren making the salon a very enjoyable and professional place to come.

Allison’s favourite treatment is CACI after seeing so many great results and has loved seeing the transformation of so many of her lovely clients.

Lauren Scott  

Lauren joined the Xanadu team in 2022 after many years of experience from becoming a Beauty Therapist at the age of 18. Lauren brings great experience and knowledge to the team and has really Settled in very quickly to Xanadu and loves working aside Allison, Vicky & Nicky.

Lauren has loved getting to know all our clients and enjoys making sure they leave the salon feeling relaxed and refreshed. Lauren’s favourite part of the job is providing a luxury relaxing facial or massage.

Nicky Muir 

Nicky joined Allison & Vicky in 2019 after many years of working in a spa. She changed to the salon environment and loves it! Nicky fitted straight into the Xanadu team and is a fantastic asset to the team. She loves working with Team Xanadu as much as we love having her.

After 5 years in the salon Nicky has loved getting to know all of the clients and having a good chat with everyone. Nicky enjoys all parts to the job but her favourite is Nails. Nicky has excelled at adding to her skills with Additional training in Nail treatments including BIAB.

Vicky Blaik

Vicky joined Allison in the salon in 2011 after completing her Beauty training at the prestigious Mary Reid Spa Academy. Vicky initially started work part time, as she was still attending college to complete the body treatment side of her training. After going full time at the salon, Vicky really settled in and loved getting to know all of the clients.

After 13 years, Vicky still relishes working in the salon and loves being part of a really great team of girls. Vicky enjoys all of the treatments in the salon, including nails, facials and massages. The treatment that Vicky enjoys offering most is a luxury pedicure – making sure that all of her clients leave the salon de-stressed, relaxed and pampered.
